Anybody else have a problem with device insurance

Upon ordering my new Droind DNA a few months back I decided to pay for the insurance plan as well.  Fast forward to today when I tragically got my phone wet and called verizon to replace my device.  I was told that I had never in fact signed up for the insurance and was essentially SOL .  I really feel cheated by this, as a loyal 10 year customer I am now truly unsatisfied with this service.  Has this happened to anyone else?

Not applicable

Also, look at your past bills and see if you were being charged for insurance.  If not, you don't have it.

Call customer service and have them pull up the order if they are able to (customer service can't pull up orders from third party retailers). If insurance was in the order and never added when the phone was activated then they can fill out a form to Asurion to potentially have it put on. It's worth a try.
