Any deals for customers with 15+ years with Verizon?

Hello,

I have been a customer of Verizon Wireless from the day this company was formed. Actually, I was a Air Touch Wireless customer earlier, so technically, I have been with this company much before it existed, if that is possible. Are there any policies being discussed for such customers? I have only spend 10's of thousands of dollars over the lifetime of this relationship.

The current situation I have is the following. I have a DROID Razr phone that will go off contract in February, but the battery on that does not even last 5-6 hours, even though it just sits most of the time unused, besides the normal sync stuff. I got the phone checked by a motorola technician and she could not find anything "wrong" with it, and basically told me to turn off this or that.

Given the long customer history with Verizon Wireless, is there anything you can do to atleast allow me an early upgrade? I am not asking for anything for free.

I don't really see myself leaving Verizon, as the competition does not match up when it comes to wireless service.

Thanks for your attention.

You can upgrade when you are eligible. Youcan check this date by going online to MyVerizon, or calling customer service. Regardless of how long you have been a customer, you are expected to adhere to the contract you agreed to. If you want to avoid waiting to upgrade, buy your devices at full retail price and skip the contract altogether. The deals for upgrades, for all customers, are only extended when you have completed your contract.

Just buy a used phone and activate it on your line. Verizon will do nothing for you. #RealityCheck
