Will i be able to go the VZW section in the BB store and ask if i can paticipate in the 12 Month Paymen Plan option for a new phone at retail price? Being a Authorized Retailer i would think so but just want to be sure.

Thanks.

I could find no information on you getting through best buy.

Under the payment plan it states through a Verizon store up to $1,000.00 (can pay over 12 months + $2.00 finance charge)

can pay the balance at any time. Subject to credit and account approval. I am not sure if resellers have all your information so I would call *611 or 800-922-0204 and ask customer service.

Good Luck

I would think Best Buy would have their own financing options, so verizon's financing terms would not be available there. But why would someone pay retail at Verizon? There is no discount off the service price for doing so. Only no contract, which means you can turn this expensive device into a paperweight before 24 months is up, giving Verizon an extra $400 or so that they wouldn't have otherwise collected over the life of the contract. Not to mention the $24 finance charge.

People seem to have expectations in this country that phones are carrier-switchable like they are in other countries. But insofar as Sprint, Verizon, and other CDMA carriers are concerns, they are not.

Unfortunately, people just cannot come up with a cost greater than $99-$199 for the new devices. They elect to lose plan perks etc. to get the newer phones. You can buy some place else but it does not change the fact that the costs for the device may be lower but the reseller will then remove your previous plan perks like unlimited data. Because the system they use to go into Verizon's service will only allow them to do just so much.

Additionally when paying less for these new phones the retailer like Amazon, Best Buy and Walmart's requires you to enter into a buying agreement with them in addition to Verizon's policies. Not a good deal.

In purchasing from Verizon you enter into a contract for a greatly reduced price, but its a 24 month contract you are locked into. The price of the device normally does not change for full retail without a Buyer Beware since you don't really get a cheaper price, you get more woes when signing with the (Resellers)
