unlimited texting..mobile im?

i have the select plan..so that's unlimited messaging.

and it says unlimited IM.

does that mean there is no cost to do that?

or will i be charged for data sent/recieved?

i don't know the difference between the mobile IM and the IM 3.0 or whatever, so I was curious if I could go on AIM with no charge.

Yes you will have unlimited IMs. You will be charged some data. No enough to amount to anything though. But yes, all the messages will be billed as text messages.

The data charges will come from when you refresh the list. Thats what the rep told me anyway. It will probably be 1.99. No question is a dumb question.
