hello......i live in the US and have an unlimited texting plan.....i am in Canada for the next few days and my phone is in roaming mode.....will i get charged extra to send and receive text messages while i'm up here?

No your text messaging will count the same as if you are in the U.S., if you make/receive phone calls you will be charged $0.69/min for roaming.
