i want to know if anyone knows of a way to know if someone i sent a text to was read?? i looked in my book and it said turn on receipt alerts but it doesn't seem to be working i have the palm centro will this work on this phone??

There is no way to know if the message is read or not. The phone will only be able to tell you if it was successfully delivered.
