***UPDATE:
It's now 3 months and this problem is STILL not resolved. The Verizon rep today told me [that after being a customer since VZW was Cellular One] that maybe I should research other cell providers. Every tech support technician promises to fix this and then dissapears from contact after 2 weeks. This is truly pathetic and I can't seem to get a senior manager to look into this. I am truly at wits end over this:
1- My Xr worked fine on my old number
2- Same phone but no visual voice mail and SMS after a port of my old landline number. VZW says there are no blocks on the line.
Technical support has not touched my ticket yet from what I can see.
I guess I have no rights as a customer???
