need help with text im new to verizon

First off i got phone palm pixi plus love the phone but is there a way to have music play when u recieve a text like a diffrent ring tone  i know sprint and t mobile had this feature i love it so i know if its a text message just by hearing the music.

If you can do that can someone tell me where to go  i check sounds and ringtones and contacts infomation but not luck finding any thing.

My other question  my friend send me a ringtone  though text of course  when i play it it plays but how do i get that ringtone

to move it or save it to ringtones so i can use it as a ringtone.

these the only things i need help with just hopfully u can do this stuff on verizon phones

How do I download ringtones?

Below are specific instructions on how to download custom ringtones on our most popular handsets. Please note the actual steps may vary from handset to handset, but the basic process is the same.

1. Access the Get It Now shopping menu on the handset.
2. Select "Get Tones".
3. Select the desired ringtone application.
4. Select the desired pricing option.
5. When finished downloading the chosen credits or uses, you will receive the message "App installed successfully. Would you like to run it now?" Select Yes.
6. You are now able to search through the application to locate the specific tone you wish to download. After selecting the desired tone, it will be downloaded to the handset and saved to the local memory on the handset.
7. Access the appropriate menu on the handset to change the ringer and select the downloaded ringtone as the default ringer.

to move it or save it to ringtones so i can use it as a ringtone.When the sound is playing, go to Options>>Save as Ringtone - it will then be available when you go to your sound settings above to be assigned to an event (txt message, call, etc)
