I can understand your concerns with contacts and being backed up. Phone Contacts (Verizon Cloud) and Google Contacts are two separate functions and can not be synced across different platforms. You can export your contacts from Cloud and import contacts to Google. For more information on exporting contacts from Verizon Cloud click here: http://spr.ly/6584DtMy8.
