Can I recieve an alert everytime my daughter sends or recieves a text from a certain number?

I never heard of anything like that offered by VZW before.

The closest thing to it would be usage controls where you can add trusted and block numbers.

totally concur with Carm--

 

keep in mind though...if you add usage controls onto your plan, it costs $4.99/month to do that...but it will block calls/txts/any messages that are from that number from being able to communicate with anyone on your plan. You can have blocks on up to 20 different numbers at the same time.

 

however, VzW has annoying call block for free that you can use for up to 5 numbers for I believe 90 days at a time if you just dont want your daughter getting/sending any txts/calls from/to that particular number.
