Upgrading To Versa

Can I upgrade my phone to the LG Versa without having a internet plan? I am currently eligible for the new 2 plan.  I have a shared minute plan with unlimited texting now and like the versa but don't  need internet,  Thanks

Vera does NOT require a data plan. The only non-PDA that does currently require one is the Rogue. The Versa DOES, however, require a Nationwide plan, as opposed to America's Choice or older. The Nationwide plans bill you $1.99 per Mb for data transmitted unless blocked by request.
