Unable to change my texting plan. help!

I am a new verizon customer that just switched over from alltel. I have a verizon phone, however I am still on an alltel plan. When I switched phones, my text messaging plan was messed up. I previously had the 400 message pack, which included unlimited m2m, friends and family and 400 anytime messages. I was told by verizon that because I have a verizon phone, I couldn't keep my same text plan, which I don't understand. So, unfortunately, I had to settle for verizons 500 messages with unlimited m2m, which most of my texting went to my friends and family, which was why i was very happy with the alltel plan. Today I went on my account just to look at my features, and I noticed that the 400 message pack was back on my account. So, I got rid of the 500 messages, and tried to add the 400 but it would not let me. Now, I am not even able to add the 500 messages, it is not even given to me as an option. When i tried to add the 400 message pack, it first said something about a text block that was preventing it, then it said that I could not add it because of pay per use pix flix? Any idea what I could do? I now currently have no texting plan, and can't get in touch with customer service. It is telling me to put in the first 5 digits of my billling pw which i have no idea what that is. Could someone please help?

I did. But, the first thing the recording asked for was the billing password.

It's okay if you don't know your billing password. You can still get thru the automated system. Once customer service comes on the line you can verify some secondary information; billing address, last four of SSN and they will call you on one of the lines on the account to verify it's you. Then you can change the billing password if you like. You can only change the billing password if you're the direct account owner, if you're just a manager then you can't change it, but after they secondary verificationt they'll be able to help you change the text package.
