Triangle with exclamation point

What does this mean? I just noticed this icon on the list of Message+ about the same time my wife complained she was unable to send photos via TXT. This icon was associated with her phone.

It means something went wrong with sending or receiving that message.

It doesn't mean the text wasn't sent. I have an Android phone and the only people that have the triangle with the exclamation mark on the right have iPhones. They received every message that has the triangle. In fact all of their messages have the triangle.

It doesn't on my Android phone. I get that message from people who have iPhones only. They always received the message.
