I am getting a new Verizon phone and I want to keep my pictures, text messages and videos.  How can I transfer the pictures, text messages and videos from the old phone to the new phone?

You could send them to your email account. Just in the TO spot enter in your email address then attach the picture or video & send. You can also try to send them to your pix account. Just look for an option to send to online album.  Once their on your email address or online album, you can send them to your new phone once that is all activated.

For text messages, you can forward them to your email address. Only the content will appear though. I'd recommend inputting the phone number of whom sent the text, date, time in the forward as well.

Thanks for your help.  How about if I get a memory card and put everything on that?  Will that work?

It should work for pics & vidoes. I am not sure about the text messages. You should be able to transfer the stuff to there and then to your computer. Make sure your phone does have a place for the memory card though. You will also need a usb cord.

Memory cards work good to store photos, videos and ringtones.  Don't think it will store texts though so those I just forward to my e-mail to save.  Mary
