5 digit short code messages are sent from the originator - Coca Cola, Google, Chase, others - via aggregators to the current carrier of the mobile number. It seems in your case that one of the aggregators does not have your routing record pointed to VZW.
Report the short codes that are not working to Customer Care. Customer Care will contact the appropriate aggregator to get your routing record corrected.
