Has anyone come up with a solution for the downloading (stuck on downloading) issue? The forum has a lot of troubleshooting but never a resolution to the issue.
I can tell you my specific issue started when I'm had an apparent spotty connection on mobile data and tried sending multiple pictures to another Verizon user. Since then Verizon Messages App continued to get the Downloading... issue.
I have since stopped using the app as it is annoying to have downloading and no message. I deleted reinstalled, deleted all messages to and from that sender and multiple recipient messages, etc. The only way to receive is to go through settings account and download from server.
