Some phones have the option to block all messages (incoming and outgoing) under Phone Settings > Security > Restrictions. Assuming no texting plan, if this option is set on the phone, will text message charges still show up on the bill?
They should not. You can confirm this with Customer service, but if you have messaging blocked, there will be no messages sent or received, therefore no charges.
