Need name blocked when I send a text

I need to send a text to another Verizon customer. I don't care if my number is shown but I don't want my name. How can I be sure my name does not appear. Not playing a childish game. This is a serious matter.

How are you determining that your name is being sent with the text?  Is it that the receiver of the text (or your test texts) have you as a contact and their Messaging app is pulling your name from their contact list?  When I receive texts from people not in my contact list, only their number is displayed.

...Just another VZW customer...trying to offer some assistance...
