I am using the Mobile Email application on an LG ENV3. I found the options to turn the alert on or off; but I want audio off and vibrate only on. I see no options to do that. I thought the application might be using one of the standard ENV sound alert settings; so I went to the Sound Settings on the phone itself and changed them all to No Ring, vibrate.
Mobile Email still beeps. Anyone know how to get around this?
Have you tried going to your email account then go to settings? There should be an option for you to change the notification settings for your incoming emails.
The suggestion works but its a pain to keep going on and offline. As the original post stated its annoying to get a notice each time you can an email and you cannot turn off the alert. This is especially bothersome when you use your phone as a wakeup alarm and you can hear the email notifications at night. I also tried the "no tone" function to no avail.
