Correct me if I'm wrong, verizon does not offer the $15 messaging plan anymore, with 1500 messages + unlimited verizon to verizon.

You are right!  I don't see it any more. I only see these options:

5000 messages pluus unlimited mobile to mobile messaging  - $20

500 messages plus unlimited mobile to mobile messaging  -$10

250 messages plus unlimited mobile to mobile messaging  -$5

When did it change?  recently?

Yeah, Tim, I don't see it either - it must have been very recently that it was dropped.....fewer options....not good.  :smileysad:

Now choices are 250, 500, or 5000 with no in between, and at 5000 you might as well spring for unlimited.....maybe not enough folks were using that option?  Seems that would be more popular than the 5000 pack....but I could be wrong.

**As of the first of this month - according to a Live Chat I just had:

A Verizon Wireless online pre-sales specialist has joined the chat. You are now chatting with Kimberlee

Kimberlee: Hello. Thank you for visiting our chat service.  May I help you with your order today?

You: Just curious, I see the 1500 text message bundle for $15 is no longer available. When was that dropped?

Kimberlee: I'd be happy to help you with that.

Kimberlee: Are you an existing Verizon Wireless customer?

You: Yes

Kimberlee: Please hold on while I check that information.

Kimberlee: Thank you for holding. Actually the package stop being offered the first of this month.

I use the highest messaging package which is 5000 messages. I got this package because i tend to use mobile IM the most which goes towards texting. One month i sent/received over 16,000 messages (that was way back in 2004? that verizon offered unlimtied messaging for a limited time).
