Is there a way to retreive Text Messages on line?

I would like to be able to get online and see my text messages from my laptop.  Is there any way to do this?

This thread is almost 1-1/2 years old.

And the answer still stands ... you cannot view the content of text messages on Verizon's web site.  Depending on the phone, there are apps that will backup texts (and some will forward them to your e-mail), which may be what you're referring to.
