Is There A Way To Recover Deleted Text Messages?

I need to recover some text messages that I accidentally deleted. They were sent last night so it shouldn't be too complicated, if it's possible.

The only way is to have them resent to you. You cannot recover the original.

I hate when that happens, and believe me it's happened to me more than once. Unfortunately, as lewr13 mentioned, once the text messages are deleted from the cell phone it can no longer be recovered. You will need to have the person who sent the text message resend it to you. 

If you need the deleted text messages for legal purposes there may be a way to recover them with a court ordered subpoena. It would depend on how long ago you deleted the text message.
