International MMS issue

Hi there.

I'm trying to send a picture message to a friend on O2 in the UK. When I try to send the message, I get an error telling me that the message can't be sent because the number is invalid. However, I've sent plenty of international texts to this person using the same number format and haven't had a problem.

I'm using the 011 + 44 + [number] format. Should I be using the +44 + [number] format for this...?

O2 UK011 + 44 + 10-digits for text messaging. You can also find the correct dialing and messaging formatting for international services at www.verizonwireless.com, select Plans from the red toolbar at the top of the page and International Services.

It appears, however, that O2 is not supported by VZW for picture/video messaging -- only the H3G carrier. See https://text1.vzw.com/text/jsp/txtintl_overview.jsp for more info on supported international carriers for text or pix/flix.

Im trying to send a picture message to the UK also. I've tried the 01144 code first and his cellphone number. He said that in Worcs its an eleven digit number, and Verizon says it should be a ten digit number. The number he gave me is[edit] . Then I tried it without the zero in the front of his number and it still doesn't work. Does it matter what kind of carrier he has over there or am i doing something wrong? This is the first time I've tried doing this on international. Please help me!

Ok, I guess he is with the O2 carrier, and according to this site, they don't support picture messaging.
