I need to resend an egift I have deleted

I have deleted an egift I purchased for someone and they have somehow lost the egift on their end too.

I need​ to get the egift resent to the recipient.

We want to ensure the eGIFT is able to be reset and received without issue, SHADOW.TAVINRANGER! What is the make/model of device that you use? Are you using the most updated version of Verizon Messages? Looking forward to hearing back.

The phone is a Motorola Force that I update regularly.  It actually sends

the egift without any issue.  The recipient receives the egift without

issue.  That while process works well and without issue.

My problem is that the recipient deleted the egift and so have I.  I just

need it to be resent to recipient.  The number I sent the egift from is

[Removed], it is a $50 IHOP egift.

So the system works great, we just have deleted the egift from both ends

unintentionally and need to resend it.

I use that eGift function as well, it is an awesome way to send gifts to one another. Now there are two ways to resend that gift, one at the top of the page in your text thread if you tap the eGift option you can resend it from there. If that is the place you have deleted your it,  you can also send it from the original message when you initially sent the eGift. From the original message, you will see three dots in the upper right corner. Once you hit those three dots you will be given the option to resend. Once you see resend on the message tap it again to resend the eGift.

Unfortunately that entire conversation we deleted. I have tried to recover

the messages but the egift was not among the recovered items.

That is unfortunate to hear. We want to make sure this is resolved. Was your message backed up by any chance? Did the person who received the eGift backed up the message received?
