Forwarding text messages

I have a LG chocolate touch and I finally figured out how to call forward my calls to my work phone, but I am not sure if I can forward all text messages as well.

I don't want to carry two phones around all the time and hope there is a way to forward the entire phone capability to my new Droid.

If your asking if you can forward a text message that you received on a cell phone that you are using at the moment to another cell number the answer is yes. But I believe you have to send them one at a time you can not do it automatically.  I'm just guessing at that last part.

Actually, what I am asking is whether the lg chocolate touch has an option to automatically forward incoming text messages to another phone, like call forwarding does.

When you use Call Forwarding to forward the calls from your LG Chocolate Touch to your work phone, only the calls will be forwarded. The text messages are not forward from your cell phone to your work phone.

If you want to forward the text message on your cell phone to your work phone you would have to do that manually one at a time. This is not something that will be done automatically like the calls.

To forward a text message:

1. Open the text message.

2. Select Options.

3. Select Forward.

4. Enter the number where you want the message sent.
