Forward Text To My Yahoo Email

So how does one go about forwarding a text to, say, one's own email address. Is this a possibility? Need play by play if it is. Thank you muchly.

Uh, what?

You can forward a text message by opening the message and going to options and then forward.

o I have tried that.  Have forwarded successfully in past however when I try now I get a message that says " Email size limit reached" what is happening here?

You're getting that error on the phone? To my knowledge you would just hav eto open the text you want to forward, go to options > forward, and in the TO field , type your yourname@youremail.com address.
