Doesn't show that the messages sent have been recieved

For the past two months or so my Alias 2 hasn't been showing the check mark that shows that the message has been recieved. It's only been showing the arrows. I've only been getting a checkmark if I send a picture mesage. Does anyone know how to fix it without having to get a new phone?

You can try dialing *228 and choose option 1 to reset your network settings - if that doesn't work then perhaps a call to customer service will help.
