Can't set spam controls

I am trying to block spam text messages. I went to spam control for my phone number and checked both options (block all text from web and email) click the apply button, but nothing seemed to happen. I navigated away from that page and back again to see if it saved my preferences, and it didn't, both boxes are unchecked. I am using firefox so I tried using internet explorer. In internet explorer when I hit apply I get a notification at the bottom of the window saying there was an error. I will wait and see if I get more spam, maybe this is working and just has a terrible way of showing it? I doubt it. I expect more spam within the next few days, please help.

Once you click save changes another little box should come up that says changes saved and you hit ok, worked fine here and I navigated away from the page and back and it was still set so the site is working fine.  All I can think is it might be your browser, do you have all your latest winows updates and service packs?  Reboot the computer and try again maybe.  Mary

Under the "call & message blocking" I can hit the "apply" button and it acts correctly, a window shows up informing me that my changes have been saved. Unfortunately I am not trying to block calls, I am trying to block spam. In the "internet spam blocking" tab there are options to block specific addresses or, like I tried to do, just block everything originating from the internet or an email address. When I hit apply on this page, nothing happens. No window, an error message if I use internet explorer, and the check boxes revert to unchecked when I navigate away. Something is wrong with this website.

Yes I went under internet spam blocking and tried again tonight and it works fine for me so the site is working here and I am using IE 8 with windows 7 on the laptop but I also tried with vista and 8 on the desktop and it still worked fine.  I clicked both and waited and it said processing then the box came up and I clicked ok.  Navigated away from the page and pack and boxes were still ticked so it is working just not for you so I have to wonder if it's something with your browser.  Have you tried from another browser like firefox or google chrome, couldn't hurt  to try.  Maybe you can get on a friends computer and try.    Mary

I had the same problem. First I cleared my browsing history then refreshed the page.  Now it works .  Hope this helps for you.

I have my browser set to clear my temp internet files every time I close my browser so I don't have to think about doing it.  My browsing history I leave set for 30 days and gives me no problems with pages doing that.  It's probablly the temp internet files that need clearing out.  I also clear out my windows temp files once a week too.  Mary

In Internet Explorer, press F12 which will open the developer tools window.  With that opened you can save your changes.

If you double click on the yellow exclamation point on the lower left, you'll see the error is Console is undefined.

Using IE8, all patched on Windows XP SP3 and on Windows 2003.  The cache was cleared, I hit refresh.  Java 1.6.

A brand new install of Firefox didn't work for me either, only that didn't display any errors.  I don't know the workaround for that.
