Has anyone heard when Verizon plans on making Visual Voice Mail available to Verizon customers who used to be with Alltel?

I think you will need to get a Verizon calling plan to get that feature

A free alternative to VVM is You Mail - google it and try it; it's free and does some awesome things!

Visual Voice Mail (VVM) will only be available when a former Alltel customer has:

  • migrated to VZW billing
  • migrated to VZW voice mail
  • purchased a VZW VVM capable device
  • the VVM Block Code removed from their account (removal occurs during voice mail migration)
  • either a VZW calling plan or an Alltel plan
