I know the title is confusing but please hear me out. I bought a phone last night and it was one of the pre-paid plans and there's an option to signed up for a 20/month any network unlimited messaging service. The phone came with 10 dollars on it, I've entered my payment method (credit card) and it's still taking out money from the 10 dollars on there to pay for texts. Do I need to add the 20 dollars manually through the payment amount thingy or is there something not going right?

First you have to make sure theres at least $20 in your prepaid account. Then you have to dial *611 and go thru the menus to add the unlimited text messaging to your phone number. As soon as you do that. The $20 will be deducted from your account.
