How to delete apps I no longer want?

I downloaded a couple of things onto my ellipsis tablet & am unable to figure out how to delete them.  I was able to delete slide but not the download.  Any suggestions?

Are these apps that you downloaded?  You need to uninstall them from within your application manager (under settings).

If they are files or something else, view the files in your Downloads folder and delete from there (try long pressing the filename and choose delete from the options that pop up.
