On my Cloud it says I have over a thousand messages but i reset my phone so I dont have any in my inbox, how do i restore?

All I do is text message, so I completely understand the importance of being able to restore those saved messages back to your phone after the reset. Here is a link that will walk you through how to restore items from the Verizon Cloud http://vz.to/2ggrXp1.

Which make/model phone do you have?

You should be able to download them to a file and import them using the appropriate app. With that many, you might need to do groups at a time.

It says I have over 13000 messages but only shows about 200 or so. I went to the settings and hit restore messages and a few popped up but still not the ones I need. I know for sure they were safe to my cloud also

Do the 13000 include Deleted/Trash/Sent folders?

I just checked and it says 68,212 messages! I don't think it includes any
of that
