multi media texts and app issues since update

updated software last night and now my phone will not send multi media texts (stays in pending status and does not send) and I can not get online with any apps or my email. I have turned the phone off, taken the battery out, made sure the mobile data button is green but still having issues. HELP?! because this is VERY irritating.

Go one step further, remove the battery, hold down the vol. up button for 30 seconds and reinsert the battery and try again.

Look in SETTINGS | WIRELESS & NETWORKING | MOBILE NETWORKS and see if Data Roaming is checked, and under System Selection, set to Automatic .

I would like to thank everyone in the community for responding with their helpful suggestions.  If you are still having trouble  connecting to the Internet, I recommend performing a factory reset of your phone.   The instructions are printed below.  You can also find the instructions on page 130 of the user guide for your phone.  I have also provided a link to the online user guide below:

Factory data reset

Use Factory data reset to return your phone to its factory

defaults. This setting erases all data from your phone, including

your Google or other email account settings, system and

application data and settings, and downloaded applications. It

will not erase current system software and bundled applications,

or files stored on an optional installed memory card, such as

music or photos.

1. From the Home screen, touch Menu Settings

Privacy.

2. Touch Factory data reset, then follow the prompts to perform the reset.
