rule #1 - Verizon store reps rarely seem to know anything and often give misinformation
rule #2 - Online reps are even worse
I would DEFINITELY talk to someone else or to a manager directly (but keep rule #1 in mind). If they can't show it to you in writing somewhere, their words mean nothing (at least if it's in writing, you can appeal down the road when they try and screw you over for misinformation that they no doubt provided you).

This is what I have read in a news story and they say it was said by a Verizon rep. in a press meeting.
GOD loves YOU and there is NOTHING you can do about it !

I'm pissed, they are pushing the ppl who were grandfatherd in, into a corner and forcing us to switch or go broke on a new phone. I'm very upset with verizon.

Its not just go broke. Their costs of most phones are higher then buying straight from the manufactorer but you can only have " Verizon " phones on their services.

I've been a Verizon customer for over 10 years. Mybill for 3 smart phones is now roughly $250 a month. Verizon can kiss that goodbye. They obviously don't care about their customers and those that are grandfathered in, as i am with 2 of those phones.
1 of the phones contracts end 7/1 and i'm going to start taking my business elsewhere. I am furious that they're raising prices on us and then limiting data.
WHATEVER HAPPENED TO CUSTOMER LOYALTY?????!!!!! We've been loyal to them all these years just to get kicked in the butt.
AT&T, Sprint, show me what you've got.

Loyalty is paid lip-service only when Verizon is pandering to us; otherwise, if the corporate pigs are feeding at the trough, then words like; loyalty, honor, integrity, and good customer service are all meaningless.

If you you live in a 1st or a 2nd round market like I do, go with sprint LTE. If not then AT&T's H+ is fast most of the time and were I live, it can best verizon LTE. I knew they would pull one over, but $50 for one not 2, 1GB have they gone mad or do they think every one else has gone mad.

Loyalty means nothing to these people. In the article I read reporters were told that the amount of people they will lose over this is acceptable compared to the profits raised. I myself want them to become the next Netflicks. Verizon is becoming another Apple. They make six times the profit and can care less about their customers because they will lock them into their products. Next thing you know they will pull up everything in America and move to a slave labor country,,, opps, Apple has already done that. Well, for a profit I can see Verizon following them .
