Several of the Antivirus programs come with their application (Eset(not in beta) Webroot, Lookout) I know several have had discussion on using a AV, but for my taken, especially now, I would have one running on my phone..

I use the lookout app, and you the free version will let you find it on a map, sound a horn from it to locate it, and other things. There is also a paid service which includes sending a lock code to it, and wiping it. It also serves as an anti-virus app.

Just had my phone stolen yesterday, and have had an Asurian basic replacement policy for years.  Replacing the phone was no problem, it's coming today, but was advised by Verizon that the Mobile Recovery app is only available with the Asurion "Total Equipment Policy" option, which must be purchased within 30 days of the original delivery.  I'm thus unable to upgrade the Asurion policy in order to use the mobile recovery app on the new (replacement) phone.  That really sucks.
