s3 is frozen

my s3 just froze up on me and won't do anything. It's stuck on the phone keyboard page. any ideas?

mhart83638, the light bulb in my head just went off! I have a few ideas. Press/hold the power and volume up button for 3-5 seconds until the reboot screen appears.

Have you downloaded any 3rd party applications from the Google Play market? Some applications software will affect the performance of your device. We recommend that you uninstall any unwanted applications and power it off/on to soft reset it. Keep us posted.
