battery is draining way to fast ....barely use it. did the updates and seems like everytime I do an update this happens.Used to last all day with plenty of battery leftover at night. what do I do??
When ever you do any updates the phone should be on it's AC power supply, you did not say if this was. First go to settings and battery and see what is using up power. Next go to Task manger and tap Close all, then to settings and app manger. From there to check all running apps to be sure non are running in the wild so to speak. DO NOT shut down or force stop any more apps at this point. Keep your phone on and discharge the battery down to 5 or 10% of power remaining by using Wi Fi & video to drain battery. At that point do a clean restart of phone and also a full recharge to 100%. This should reset phone to normal and reform the battery life.
Very good question tamyk14. To be very brief , a regular restart is done with-out system cache cleaning, a "clean" restart is done in a safe mode start-up of the operating files. A normal restart will in most cases however clear the problem.
