Overnight, the wifi setting on my Samsung Galaxy toggles off. This happens if the phone is bring charged of not being charged so i do not see it being a power saving issue.
My Ipad is on the same network and its wifi does not shut off so I think it has to be a setting on my phone.

tomc212,
That's great info! I appreciate it very much. Can you go into your wi-fi settings and select this network? If you hold down on it, you'll have an option to forget the network. Go ahead and do so and when that is done, go ahead and add the wi-fi connection back. Let's see if that makes a change!

Unfortunately the setting on my phone in Wifi / Advanced is already set to keep wifi on during sleep / Always.

The wifi advanced setting is set at always for "keep wifi on during sleep", which is the issue.

I'm sorry you're having issues with keeping wifi connected to your phone tomc212. I know this is important for data purposes so your phone doesn't use your allotment over night if any updates are performed. Have you checked for any updated software on your device? How long have you had this issue? Did it start after downloading a specific application? Have you tried to completely disable the wifi connection and set it us as new?

I really am not sure when this started happening, it could be since I updated the phone to version NK1. I do not remember adding an app in the past few months, but the ones I do have on the phone have been updated except for the Samsung and Verizon ones that i never used.
