Why can't I get my bluetooth device to pair with my car?

I am having a problem connecting to my bluetooth on my 2015 Subaru Forester. Subaru says there is nothing wrong with the bluetooth. Verizon employee at Newton NJ store claims there is no problem with Verizon or Samsung S5 phone.

kidjk,

Being able to use your car's bluetooth is super important now a days. Let's look further into yours. Have you ever been able to connect to it or is this the first time? Are you receiving any error messages?

Using your phone with your Bluetooth is a great way to stay safe on the road, and I would be more than happy to help you pair your phone to your car. First you will want to make sure your phone is visible to your car by turning on the Bluetooth feature on your phone. If you are not sure how to do this, please see the following link: https://www.verizonwireless.com/support/knowledge-base-210660/. Once both devices are on, and your phone's Bluetooth is on, simply follow these instructions: https://www.driveuconnect.com/support/chrysler.html.
