Hey all, just got an upgrade message on my S7 Edge. Verizon states fixes are Wi-Fi improvements along with security updates. Anyone install yet? Hate to be the guinea pig.

I installed this and now bluetooth in my Camry no longer works. Bluetooth and the Toyota connect when I start the car but it disconnects and turns off the bluetooth in the car in 1-2 minutes. The toyota interface shows bluetooth is off but the phone thinks it is connected. To rule out the car unit I turned off the bluetooth in the phone and car never turns off the bluetooth until I turn in the phone. I had this same issue on my S5 ( I upgrade from last week) and it took 3 months and a couple updates before the problem was resolved on the S5

Yes it worked fine with this phone until today and the last software update
was last night. I had this issue before on my old s5, identical. I have
security for work connections on this phone but my wife has the same phone
(we both upgraded to the s7 and both had the s5 before) and her phone does
the same and does not have the added security.

stevemc801,
Thanks for the additional details. We can try to reset the device completely to allow any updates to reinstall to see if that will help. Before resetting the device you can see how to backup to Verizon cloud here http://www.verizonwireless.com/support/knowledge-base-78396/. I just went and tested this with my wife's s7 and find this issue although
the same as on the s5 is slightly different on the s7. Her phone without
the Vodafone security stayed connected and I made a about a 10 minute call
from the car and it had no fail. I do know this worked great when using
it last reviewed of software so it appears something changed with that
upgrade. I find it odd the phone shows connected but the Camby after a
minute or 2 sees it drop off. I will contact Toyota too like I did the last
time

I did that 3 times when this issue happened on the s5 it made no changes
resetting except that I had keep going back to my IT group to reconnect to
my work and get access to my mail which I need. Resetting the phone at the
time is not an option as I have a major issue at work and need to continue
having access which I will loose if I reset. Plus based on my past s5
experience with this I have no confidence this will resolve it. I suspect
it is not the Vodafone app since that worked fine till today. I am thinking
this may be Toyota related now. Guess it is back to Google searching again
for now. If only I could go back to the last rev of software this issue
would be resolved buy when I called Verizon tech support the told me that
is not possible
