What Do I Do If I Have A Bad SIM Card?

I have no Simms card screen.  I have Internet and email still, but no text.  I tired replacing Simms card, clearing cache and checking the connection Points, no luck.  Any thoughts

Which texting application are you using? The SIM Card is not going to determine whether or not you receive SMS messages. Are you using Message+ or Samsung Messages?

I believe it is just Samsung icon.  In my status screen it shows no mobile data option.  And when I click on it I get a insert SIM card to access network services screen.

Turns out Simms card was bad, verizon have me a new one and it works
