If you did not - do not update. The new Jellybean 4.3 version is causing headaches and heartaches. I got the Samsung s3 based on reviews before the update occurred, Loved it, notice the past tense.
Since Samsung launched the update to Jellybean 4.3 my phone used to last an entire day, then I got the bigger battery for it and could go 2 days hard heavy use, 4 days limited use without charging, then comes along Jellybean 4.3. It's causing extra battery drain, i'm now down to 1/2 to 1 day heavy use, 2 days ltd use, NO IT IS NOT THE BATTERY!
I don't know if there is a solution to return the phone and get something else, don't worry I still have the original battery, but the phone itself. Loved it pre update, was smooth, could multi task, make calls without any delay. Now, slow screen load, can't multi task, uses to much Ram. Major phone lag when trying to dial.
They turned the phone into a paper-weight with this new update.
