Looking for a texting app that will allow me to use my own ringtones for text message for each individual contact. Everyone I tried won't let me.

I want one that you can just add it to the contacts without having you text them first and them texting you back. I’m using handcent but you have to text first and then customize it,
It looks like the Google Messages application works the same way. The option to change the text notification tone isn't available until you have an existing conversation with that person. I don't have the option to assign text notification tones to a person through the Contacts application.
On second thought, maybe it is possible to set the text notification tone before you send the first message to a new person/conversation.
