I just updated my S4 to NG6 this morning. Now my Swype function is useless.
It does not recognize simple words like "on" or "how" or any other normal conversational words. It most often does not enter any words after swyping. Sometimes it enters a word that I have never heard of.
Even when typing, it tries to correct common words to something else.
I have checked my settings and the dictionary is still set to English and everything seems to be in order?
What's going on??
Most likely a benefit of the defect laden update. Some customers report that resetting their phone (resulting in the loss of all your installed apps, etc) fixes the problem. Others have reported that the resetting had no effect and their problems remained. Verizon finger pointers says that it's Googles Fault. Verizon customer support has been severely lacking.
Let's hope they can do better.
Right now, I'm pretty annoyed.
