I recently got the S7. Reception is very noticeably less than my M9 I upgraded from, which SUCKS. During the troubleshooting with Verizon they told me to remove my SIM. When I removed it there were large gashes from the fingers for the SD card reader. I have only removed the card once prior to this and that was to put in a SD Card. Anyone else have marks on there SIM Card like this?

Are the contacts still gold? If you have questions on the SIM, you can get a free replacement at a Verizon corporate store

I did end up getting a replacement. I was really hoping that was the fix for my poor signal but it wasn't unfortunately.
