Happening since Christmas eve, stock messaging.. tech support said try
messaging app..it also does it, yes showing 3 G as I speak....using 4.3, I
have replaced sim card,factory reset, done numerous safe modes, switched
out phones, and removed sd card, nothing has worked and I still everyday
since Christmas eve have 40+ messages fail everyday

Thank you! I appreciate the insight. There may be service opportunities in the area. I would suggest reviewing in the signal strength on the device by heading into Settings > About Phone > Status > Signal Strength. This will be registered in "dbm's" anything less than -95 dbms ( for example -100dbms) may suggest service concerns.

I have had the EXACT same problem since December. It's only when I am at work and work on the 12th floor. Ironically enough I have a Verizon building right next to mine, you'd think I'd get better service?! I can't receive pic text messages unless I walk outside, I can't send any text without 4-5 attempts and cannot access the internet. I have the spotify app and can only use it offline while at work. Frustrating since I can't stream music from my work internet and it's my lifeline to getting through my day. I have tried all tips in this forum. Verizon, I think you have a bigger problem on your hand with the S4/latest android update. Please fix soon!!

verizon seems to think its my phone...but ive had 2 doing same thing every soingle day since dec. its either verizon ,samsung,or the update ...not me or my phone

The failed messages are not being sent..my daughter has showed me that she
never re waived my failed messages and others have told me they aren't
receiving all my messages

I still can not text from my phone ...going on 2 months now second brand new galaxy 4 .bought nov.28th and switched out a week ago
