Jellybean - whats going on here?? (3g connection?)

I look around the internet on forums and it seems I am not the only one having this issue.

Last night, my phone decided to do the update, i let it go, and went to sleep.

This morning, my data connection is ALL KINDS of screwed up. I am either stuck on 3g, or have no connection whatsoever.

It has also used 25% of the battery in only an hour and a half. It usually takes all day to get to about 50%.

I like the little updates it did, but this is a bit inexcusable. I am in no different area, I should get the same 4g connection I always get. The worst thing about this is that 2 other users at my company did their updates, and they both have the EXACT SAME PROBLEM.

Did jellybean really screw our phones up that badly??

Another note! I can no longer seem to do a screenshot by swiping my palm.

Everything I find is telling me that doesnt actually help it. If it comes down to it, I will do yet another factory reset, however I am looking for other options. I just got in touch with our Verizon rep and he said this has been happening in isolated instances, but no solution has been found yet.
