Hey everyone, I gave up my Note 3 for an S4 and some cash a couple of days ago and am disappointed with the battery life so far. The Note 3 has a much bigger battery and aware there would be a difference, but not this much after reading how great the battery is on the S4.
I am concerned it is the battery because everything else appears to be in good shape. Here are my stats from this morning, not sure if this is normal or my expectations of the battery are too high after using the Note 3
Run Time: 5h 10m
Battery Left: 54%
Screen Time: 1h 23m (66%)
Voice Calls: 13m (8%)
Android OS: 10m (6%)
I have been on LTE the whole time, very minimal use other than playing music from the SD card for about an hour or so using the factory music player (screen is turned off and on often to scroll thru music). Couple of quick phone calls, Facebook for a total of 15 or so, 1 YouTube video (less than a minute), couple of text messages. Number of bars does fluctuate often (since LTE here is Phoenix is pretty bad compared to other cities I have been) but that's about it. Screen is set to auto, and screen times out after 30 seconds. I have read some people getting thru a day without a charge, but at this rate, I will not make it thru the work day.
Think there is a problem with my battery, or is this the norm? It's not terrible, but far from great. Hate to see how much my battery drops when I actually use it
