I have my text messages showing up in my exchange email account. How do I correct this?

Try this:Email > Settings> Server Settings > Uncheck SYNC SMS.

Open messaging app, then click on three dots (top Right),click on settings, Then click on text messages setting and uncheck delivery reports.

I followed your instructions and Delivery Reports is not checked off for Text messaging. I also checked delivery for MMS and it is not checked off either. Not sure where to go from here.
