This is very annoying as I have inadvertently called numerous people without meaning to.

S4. Dont have the 3 dots but found the settings/contacts.. and unchecked
it. This has no effect in the messaging application. Thank you for
responding.

I think on the S4 it only turns off swipe to call under contacts, the feature to disable this for messaging is on the s5 I believe.

Definitely annoying. The same action is used to archive email. So by habit
I try to swipe away a message in Messenger and end up calling people. Be
nice if it would at least ask if you wanted to call before doing it.

Is there any way to get the Android coders to HEAR what we are saying?
It's been 2 years since we all started complaining about the "Swipe To Call" feature in Messenger and nothing has changed... It's fine to keep it if there are actually people who like, BUT GIVE US THE OPTION TO DISABLE IT! It actually makes me hate this product at times....
